跳馬の前転とびの距離

今、器械体操をやってるものですが、跳馬の前転とびでなかなか距離が出ません。跳馬を突き放したらみんなは前方に跳んでいるのに自分はついたら足だけ前にいって肩は後ろのほうにさがっています。（空回り??）先生や先輩は、肩角度がないとか言っていますが何のことかいまいちわかりません。どうしたら前方に大きく優雅に跳べるんですか？
